Boonwurrung Storytelling for Children

Children will discover the Boonwurrung language through fun and interactive activities, and hear amazing cultural stories from the beginning of time in this engaging session created specially for young ones.

Discover the history and culture of the First Nations, including the foundation stories of Bunjil. A wedge-tailed eagle and being who watches over people of the Kulin Nation and the land, Bunjil teaches us the importance of our laws and the beliefs by which we live.

Experience a Welcome to Country and a traditional smoking ceremony with Jaeden Williams, a Yalukit Willam man of the Boonwurrung language group, a teacher and custodian of the land.
