Charlotte Allingham (Wiradjuri)
02–12 May Free

Charlotte Allingham shot to internet fame in 2018 when one of her illustrations became a symbol of the growing unease about celebrating 26 January as Australia Day.

In this exhibition of her illustrations, Charlotte strives towards a better understanding of her craft, her culture and identity through her artwork. Always challenging perceptions, her creative expression includes themes of modern subcultures, occultism and First Nation’s futurism.

Charlotte is a 25-year-old proud Wiradjuri woman from NSW, with family ties to Condobolin and surrounding mob. She currently lives in Melbourne.
