insideOUT is an exhibition that interrogates the meeting points of where Blak and queer cultures intersect, through the distinctive collage works of Ngarigo artist Peter Waples-Crowe. His latest experimentations with animation and fashion will be accompanied by pop-up shows from Taiwanese performance artist Dondon Hounwn.

SMAPUX (meaning Shaman in Truku language) is a deep spiritual healing ritual developed from the resonation of Dondon’s healing power and Peter’s stream of consciousness.

There are three stages in this ritual. The first stage is ‘conversation’, to have a dialogue with local spirits. ‘Release’ is the second stage, inciting subconscious information through the dialogue with local spirits. At the third stage, ‘balance’, the balanced spiritual power of two parties will be constructed.
